Yes, you heard it correctly. I am officially denouncing orange, and grape, and even chocolate “pop.” When I was really little my brother would take me next door to the neighborhood grocery store and buy me grape pop and a package of peanuts. We would dump the peanuts in the pop, then we would drink the pop and peanuts. Nothing better than grape pop and peanuts!
That little story has nothing to do with orange, but it is a great little memory.
I AM denouncing orange pop today, but I am NOT denouncing orange.
The color orange is our third color to add into our diet. (Read about Blue and Red.) Orange is found in an orange (duh), also sweet potatoes, apricots, carrots, peaches, cantaloupes, and other wonderful sexy fruits and veggies.
Add sunshine to your day with orange. Orange pop does not count! Stay away from orange juice unless it is freshly squeezed and served with a good protein source. (Read about good protein sources.) OJ gives you a quick shot of calories and glucose.
Knock, Knock.
Who’s there?
Orange.
Orange who?
