I had a dream last night. I was riding in a dark elevator and every time the door would open very angry veggies would try to get in. Brussels Sprouts- horrible green heads with Cheshire cat grins.
Okra-spiky haired creatures marching through the elevator door like the brooms and buckets in Fantasia. I awoke from this nightmare screaming and drenched with sweat (OK, so maybe it was just another Hot Flash.)
This happens around Halloween every year. The things that scare us the most rise to haunt us. For many of us it is the dreadful disease of Lachanophobia-the fear of Vegetables.
If you suffer from this horrible disease we are here to help. We will help you move from being a lachanophobiac to a happy and healthy lachanophiliac. Yes, you will become a lover of Veggies! See our new Lachanophiliac recipes- Butternut Squash and Sweet Potato Soup, Roasted Brussels Sprouts with cranberries and Pork Chops with caramelized apples, onions and red cabbage.
Remember to keep your doors and windows locked on Halloween because the “Celery Stalks at Midnight”.
Love, WD
